Make people understand the exponential growth of Covid-19

While it feels silly to stay home – it’s the right thing to do.

While there are many dashboards and explanatory posts out there about how Covid-19 growths, there is none that shows what is going to happen – per country, depending on what action we take. What is the influence of self-isolation, or of waiting one day to close our schools, should we limit events to 1000 people, or 100 or 10?

The goal of this mission is to build a predictive dashboard – regularly updated, where the users can play out all these scenarios in a very easy to understand manner to convince people to staythefuckhome.com

Once we have that, can we further augment our models with current research in epidemiology?

We are intelligent, we understand math, we can use it to fit exponential and other models to existing data, and we want to use it to save our parents, grand-parents and those who can’t do it themselves.
